About JEE Advanced Marking Scheme
The JEE Advanced exam consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2), each with three sections for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Marking Scheme:
- Section 1 (Single Correct): +3 for correct, -1 for wrong
- Section 2 (One or More Correct): +4 for all correct, +1 for partially correct, -2 for wrong
- Section 3 (Numerical Value): +3 for correct, 0 for wrong
Each paper has a maximum of 180 marks (60 per subject). The total marks for both papers is 360.
